Mary Hettmansperger (United States)

Mary Hettmansperger has taught internationally in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, and across the United States at a variety of venues such as Arrowmont, Penland, Bead and Button, Convergence, National and Regional Fibre conferences, Art and Craft Schools, and private Guilds for 29 years. She has authored and illustrated four books Fabulous Woven Jewellery; Wrap, Stitch, Fold and Rivet; Mixed Metal Jewellery Workshop, and Heat, Colour, Set and Fire, all published by Lark/Sterling. She also produced three DVD’s for Interweave on surface design and jewellery. 


Other books that show Mary’s work include Jewellery Design Challenge, 500 Baskets, Fiber Arts Design Book 7, the Gourd Book, Creative Scarecrows, Pushing the envelope, Fabulous Found object jewellery, Teapots - makers and collectors, Beading with Crystals, and Creative Beading Volume 2. Her work was shown at SOFA – through the Katie Gingrass Gallery and is included in invitational and juried exhibitions.
