Fibres West Inc. Scholarship 2025
The Fibres West Scholarship Fund was established in 2008. The scholarship is available to assist a Fibres West participant who, without the benefit of the scholarship, would have difficulty attending a Fibres West event.
The 2025 Scholarship covers 80% of the full-fee residential registration cost ($1,200) with the recipient contributing the remaining 20% ($300). The recipient is responsible for any materials cost of their chosen workshop.

Embroiderers' Guild Scholarship 2025
The Embroiderers’ Guild of Western Australia (EGWA) is pleased to offer a scholarship to attend Fibres West from 5-11 October 2025.
The applicant must be a financial member of EGWA at the time of application and during the Fibres West 2025 residency. The successful applicant will be chosen on merit with a particular interest in supporting a member who has not attended Fibres West before and is keen to explore and share innovative textile techniques with the Guild.
The scholarship will cover $1,000 towards the full-fee registration cost, with the recipient contributing the balance of the full-fee registration and their workshop materials list costs.

Scholarship @ Fibres West 2025
Commencing in 2015, the Western Australian Fibre & Textile Association (WAFTA) has awarded the WAFTA @ Fibres West Scholarship for four consecutive Fibres West events. The scholarship program serves to support individual practitioners as well as forge organisational bonds between WAFTA and Fibres West.
WAFTA @ Fibres West Scholarship 2025 applicants must be a financial member of WAFTA both at the time of application and during the Fibres West residency. Successful recipients are chosen on merit and on their enthusiasm to promote fibre and textiles and WAFTA.
The WAFTA @ Fibres West Scholarship 2025 will be valued at $1,000 and will go towards the full-fee registration cost, with the recipient contributing the balance of the full-fee registration and their workshop materials list costs.
Application guidelines and forms will be made available via the WAFTA website after the Fibres West 2025 enrollments have opened. WAFTA members will be informed in due course regarding the scholarship process.
